Kesha is thinking about a future husband… or 40?
Appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show on Tuesday, May 13, Kesha opened up about a future marriage — and its financial requirements. The singer revealed to Barrymore she’s “always been a bit witchy,” so she’s been manifesting the kind of husband and life she wants to attract.
“So now I’m manifesting a sugar daddy, and a yacht … maybe a couple sugar daddies,” she admitted. “I would like at least 40 husbands.”
“There are men who’ve said that, and they’re not shamed for it, so why not?” Barrymore added.

The singer sported an intricate top for her time on the show — silver chains woven together to form a halter-neck shape. But a closer look revealed the real highlight — a collection of engagement rings, woven into the shirt, from “all the men that have tried,” Kesha shared.
Kesha has never been married, though she recently admitted she was engaged once before. In an interview in April on SiriusXM’s The Morning Mash Up, the singer opened up about how writing songs helped her discover that past relationship wasn’t right for her.
“I was engaged and I didn’t want to be anymore, and I didn’t even realize that I was gonna break up with him until I wrote a song about it,” she said. “And then I listened back to it, and I was like, ‘Oh no, I’m gonna break up with him now,’ but it led me to my truth ’cause I can’t lie in the song.”

She continued, “You can’t lie in a song,” urged Kesha, adding, “A, your song will suck, but also, that’s not what it’s there for, you know?”

The revelation came after Rolling Stone‘s report that Kesha wrote the 2023 song “Too Far Gone” for Gag Order after ending an engagement.
Kesha told PEOPLE in March that she’s been getting a better idea of what she wants in a romantic partner — she’s explored non-monogamous relationships, as well as partnerships with men and women, she said. And just as she admitted to Barrymore, Kesha told PEOPLE she’s presently “looking for a sugar daddy.”
