Doctor’s Last Conversation With His Father Revealed Before He Died at 40 in Red Sea Submarine Tragedy

A family’s submarine excursion in the Red Sea turned tragic when it malfunctioned. While two children survived, the fate of their parents left their loved ones in shock.

A family vacation turned tragic for Kristina and Ravil Valiullin, a couple from Urussu, Tatarstan. On March 21, they traveled to Egypt with their daughters, aged 10 and 15, for a long-awaited holiday. While exploring the underwater world on a bathyscaphe excursion, disaster struck, according to the Russian publication Woman.

Ravil’s father recalled their last conversation, “They said they were going on an underwater excursion with the whole family. They wanted to show the children the fish.”

The bathyscaphe malfunctioned, leaving the daughters as the only survivors. Initial reports declared both parents dead, devastating relatives and friends. However, hours later, a miracle emerged — Kristina, presumed dead, was found alive.

The small village of Urussu now mourns Ravil, a 40-year-old anesthesiologist-resuscitator, while rallying around Kristina, a 38-year-old pediatrician. Both were deeply respected for their dedication and kindness.

“They were gold, not people! They loved each other very much, they were together since their second year at medical university. They worked in our hospital for six years,” said their colleagues, unable to hold back tears.

The heartbreaking incident has left the community in shock, as they remember a couple known for their unwavering commitment to their family and profession.
