Swift sent fans into a spin at the Grammy Awards last year when she announced the release of The Tortured Poets Department.

The 34-year-old was delivering her acceptance speech for Midnights, which was crowned Best Pop Vocal Album, when she broke the news on stage.

“I want to say thank you to the fans by telling you a secret that I’ve been keeping from you for the past two years, which is that my brand new album comes out April 19th,” Swift said at the time.

“It’s called The Tortured Poets Department and I’m going to go post the cover right now backstage. Thank you. I love you.”

Swift recently travelled Down Under for the Australian-leg of her Eras Tour, performing for fans across sold-out shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
