Natalie Portman Steps Out with Boyfriend Tanguy Destable in Rare Sighting for the Couple

Natalie Portman is stepping out with her new beau.

French musician Tanguy Destable was spotted on the move alongside Portman recently in Paris. The Oscar winner, who turned 44 on June 9, was photographed with water bottles in hand, wearing a white top, denim skirt and black jacket. Destable, in a denim jacket and dark shirt and pants, lugged a suitcase.

His jacket featured the sign of Angel City FC, Portman’s National Women’s Soccer League team based in Los Angeles. That team, founded in 2020, also counts Jessica Chastain, Eva Longoria, Gabrielle Union, Jennifer Garner, Uzo Aduba, America Ferrera and Mia Hamm among its investors. In one photo, the new couple can be seen holding hands.

PEOPLE confirmed the Fountain of Youth star’s romance with Destable in March after they were linked by French outlet Voici. The news came one year after finalizing her divorce from her ex-husband, director-choreographer Benjamin Millepied, with whom she shares son Aleph, 13, and daughter Amalia, 8.

Destable — also known by his stage name Tepr — is an electronic music producer and performer. He was previously married to French actress Louise Bourgoin, with whom he shares two kids.

Last month, Portman shed light on why she loves living in France, where she moved from America in 2014, in a cover story for Net-a-Porter. “They’re very good at privacy here,” she revealed. “I feel like the biggest compliment is ‘elle est très discrète’ [‘she is very discreet’].”
