Demi Lovato‘s wedding dress was exactly what she wanted.
The singer, 32, wore a pearl white Vivienne Westwood gown as she tied the knot with Jordan “Jutes” Lutes in California on Sunday, May 25, according to Vogue.
The dress, the outlet said, was made with “heavy silk satin fabric” and featured a corset bodice. Lovato paired it with a long cathedral-style veil, which Vogue reported was made from ivory tulle.
The publication said the dress was perfected over five fittings that took place in Los Angeles, with the Vivienne Westwood couture team traveling to and from London to get it just right for Lovato.
The “Heart Attack” singer was inspired by another Vivienne Westwood dress she saw on the internet. Using that gown, Lovato and the design team made changes to create the wedding dress of the star’s dreams.

Later during the evening, Lovato changed into another Vivienne Westwood dress, called the Audrey, Vogue reported.
That gown was a “ivory silk satin column dress with a draped corset top,” the outlet said, adding that it “featured broken pearls cascading from the neckline.”
Working with the brand, Lovato told Vogue, was a no-brainer. “I have been a fan of Vivienne Westwood’s designs for a long time,” she said.
“When I was thinking about [what dress style I wanted] I often found myself coming back to Vivienne’s designs—specifically how the silhouettes really compliment the curves in your body, and her use of corsets,” added Lovato
Lovato and Jutes, 34, got engaged in December 2023. They first met in January 2022, when Jutes cowrote Lovato’s song “Substance,” featured on her album Holy Fvck.
The songwriter popped the question with a bespoke pear-shaped diamond solitaire engagement ring created by N.Y.C. luxury jewelry boutique Material Good.
Back in December, Jutes celebrated their engagement anniversary on his Instagram Stories.
“1 year of being engaged to my favorite person. I’m so lucky and can’t wait to marry u baby 😘,” he wrote alongside a romantic snap of himself and the Disney Channel alum smiling.
Jutes told PEOPLE in an exclusive interview last year that he and Lovato were taking their time planning for their big day.

“We’re not trying to stress ourselves out. I feel like a lot of weddings can be stressful and very quick, and so we’re on it, but we’re also taking our time, and we’re also just enjoying being engaged,” he said.
