Woman Reportedly Shouts in Courtroom as Prince Harry Leaves the High Court — What Happened

A spectator’s sudden outburst near the Duke of Sussex during a London court hearing triggered a swift and coordinated response from his security team.

Prince Harry’s security team quickly escorted him out of a hearing at the Royal Courts of Justice after a woman in the public gallery disrupted proceedings with an outburst. The disruption occurred during a session about Harry’s security arrangements and prompted an immediate response from his protection team, according to a Daily Mail report on April 9.

Court observers said the woman looked to be in her 50s, was small, and wore glasses. She arrived late and constantly fussed with two phones and a notebook. Harry’s head of security, David Langdown, and another bodyguard closely watched her throughout the public part of the hearing.

When the court broke for a private segment of the hearing, the two guards flanked the prince as they moved him toward the exit. As he passed within arm’s reach of the woman, she suddenly shouted, “I support you Prince Harry,” startling the courtroom and prompting the security team to tighten their protective formation.

Although the statement appeared supportive, the timing and setting triggered an immediate response from the team. Court personnel quickly removed the woman from the gallery and later led her out of the building. When a journalist approached her outside, she declined to explain her actions.
