In an emotional Instagram Story dated March 13, 2025, Hayley expressed her deep grief, reflecting on the impact of the loss and the cherished bond she shared with her mother.
Hayley opened up about her emotions, describing the pain she felt as she navigated life without her mother.
She wrote, “Mama, last night was one of the hardest. I don’t know if it’s because it’s been a week since your passing or the synchronization of the rain tonight, just like the night of. I pray that one day I can find comfort in the sound of rain again, as it’ll symbolize your spirit going to heaven, but for now, all I hear is my heart aching for you.”
She highlighted the special connection she and Pamela shared, calling her mother her “best friend, my heart, and my whole world.”
Hayley also described the difficulty of adjusting to mornings without their daily phone calls, stating that no matter where she was in the world, her mother was always there for her.
Despite her grief, Hayley expressed a commitment to staying strong and honoring her mother’s legacy. She mentioned the support of her older sister, Taylor, writing, “Taylor and I are staying strong, carrying the pride you instilled in us and protecting one another, knowing that the bond you taught us to cherish will always guide us.”
Her touching tribute concluded with a promise to make her mother proud, as she affirmed, “I love you, Mama. ‘I love you’ will never be enough because my whole heart is yours, and it always will be. I love you, my beautiful, beautiful mama, until the end of time.”
Alongside the message, Hayley shared a nostalgic throwback image of her mother holding her as a child. In the photo, Pamela is smiling warmly while a young Hayley, adorned with a yellow bow, beams with joy.

In the post’s caption, she honored Pamela, writing, “To my best friend & my whole heart, Happy Mother’s Day! I love you so much 🌸 I can’t wait to watch you become a grandma & the most glamorous one:).”
Taylor’s heartbreaking tribute to her mother came about a week after Pamela passed away on March 5. At the time, reports revealed that the actress had died by suicide.
On that fateful night, a call reporting an unconscious woman was made shortly after 10 p.m., prompting paramedics to respond. Unfortunately, the actress was pronounced dead at the scene from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
According to reports, Pamela did not leave a note, and the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) arrived at the scene shortly after the call. Taylor and Hayley’s father expressed his grief in a loving statement.

He said, “Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time.”
David and the late actress were married from 1989 to 2006. Their divorce was contentious, with disputes over monthly spousal support continuing until 2017. Pamela, who was 62, was also honored with a tribute from her representative, Sharon Kelly.
In her statement, Sharon expressed, “I am in shock and still processing the loss of my dear client Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff. Pamela was a ‘Force of Nature’… She will be missed.” She continued, “My heart goes out to her family, her beautiful daughter, and granddaughter whom Pamela constantly gushes about and loves so dearly. The representative also recalled how her late client often spoke about how proud she was of her daughters and the adults they had become. Sharon described Pamela as a “Proud Mama!”
Pamela’s passing has left a void in the lives of those who knew and loved her. Her legacy will live on through her family and the cherished memories they hold.
As per previous reports, neighbors have spoken out about Pamela’s passing after she was found dead in her Hollywood Hills home.

Authorities confirmed that no suicide note was left at the residence, which is located near Universal Studios. An autopsy was scheduled for March 6, 2025, to determine the official cause of death.
Days before her passing, neighbor Hiromi Osiecki, who lives across the street, noticed something unusual. Hiromi saw Pamela in her backyard, taking out the trash — an ordinary moment that would be their last sighting of her. Hiromi recalled, “I felt she looked sad.”
Meanwhile, on the night of her death, Pamela’s daughter, Hayley Hasselhoff, was overcome with grief outside the home. Witnesses described her as “hysterical” and “screaming and crying” as paramedics arrived at the scene.
Hiromi saw the young woman moving in and out of the house in distress. At one point, she was heard shouting, “I just want to get my car.” Police attempted to bring her inside and close the door, but she kept stepping in and out.
Despite the chaos unfolding outside, those nearby had little insight into what was happening inside. “We couldn’t see what was going on in the house, but when she came out she was crying like crazy,” Hiromi recalled.
Hiromi and her husband, John Osiecki, recognized Hayley’s Mercedes parked in the driveway that night. According to them, she had lived with her mom for about a decade, during which emergency responders were frequently seen at the home, though the reason was unclear.
Though Pamela’s final days seemed uneventful, neighbors had long observed tensions surrounding her presence in the community. They had kept their distance from the movie actress.
John admitted he and his wife avoided her due to the “drama” she caused. Hiromi recalled their gardener refusing to work for Pamela, saying she was “crazy” and “smokes too much marijuana.”
She also described an incident where the Oklahoma native entered their yard uninvited to speak with the gardener, calling it trespassing.
Disputes with neighbors were common, from arguments over trash cans and parking to a “really huge pit bull-type dog” that allegedly bit a smaller dog, leading to a dispute over veterinary bills. “I noticed all day, all night, the dog would cry and bark. I don’t know if she was there or not,” Hiromi revealed.
Pamela once asked to hire Hiromi as an assistant — an offer she refused, “I was like, no way. It was such an odd thing to say to my husband. I didn’t want anything to do with her.”
Despite past tensions, John struggled to make sense of her death, saying, “It’s shocking. She was chatty. She would talk to a lot of people when she walked her dogs. She didn’t seem like the type of person who would want to kill herself.”
Another report revealed how Pamela’s longtime friend, Terry Ahern, is shedding light on her life from the years leading up to her passing.
Terry, who worked closely with the actress for over a decade, revealed that Pamela battled severe arthritis stemming from an accident that left lasting damage. “Pam’s body was ravaged from arthritis caused by the accident. It continued to spread and wreak havoc,” he said.
Pamela was found dead in her Los Angeles home on March 5. The L.A. Medical Examiner later ruled her death a suicide, leaving those close to her stunned.
Terry, who last spoke to her a few months prior, recalled how excited she was about her granddaughter, London, born to her daughter Taylor in August.
“She was just over the moon being a grandmother — over the moon,” he recalled. Her unexpected passing left him in disbelief. “She was the last person in the world I would think [would do that],” he said. “It’s a shock.”
According to Terry, Pamela’s health struggles began in 2003 when she and her then-husband, David Hasselhoff, were involved in a serious motorcycle crash.
The accident left her hospitalized with a broken neck and back, forcing her to spend months in intensive care as she recovered from crushed bones.

Over the years, complications from her injuries took their toll. “That plagued her — the arthritis from it,” Ahern explained. “Because that stuff catches up to you when you get older — injuries that are [from] earlier, arthritis sets in…”
Despite her struggles, Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff remained surrounded by love. Best known for her roles in “Knight Rider” and “Baywatch,” she built a strong network of friends who adored her. Her death has left many grappling with the pain of losing someone who seemed so full of life.
