Pop star Taylor Swift left the 2025 Grammy Awards without a win despite multiple nominations, sparking debate online as some social media users called it “not right.”

The 2025 Grammy Awards saw several artists, both new and established, take home trophies. However, Taylor Swift, one of pop’s biggest stars, left without a win.

The Recording Academy nominated Swift six times: Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, Best Pop Vocal Album, and Best Music Video.

Many expected the 35-year-old singer’s album, “The Tortured Poets Department” (TTPD), to win at least one award. When she didn’t, fans and critics reacted on social media.

One Twitter user wrote, “a grammys morning after where taylor swift didn’t win a single grammy, especially for an album like TTPD is just not right [sic].”

Others welcomed the outcome. “Honestly, good. TTPD wasn’t a Grammy worthy [sic] album and I hope she reflects and goes in a different direction for her next album. I’m so tired of synths and miss drums and actual instruments in her music,” one Reddit user commented.

Some defended the results, pointing out Swift’s past success. “She’s won a ton!! Let others have a chance,” a Facebook user exclaimed.

While Taylor Swift did not win a Grammy this year, her nominations and the reactions to her loss kept her at the center of discussion.
