Take a look at the best seat in the house

Here is everything which came included with a $2million (£1.6million) ringside ticket to watch Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson.

Arguably the biggest boxing event of the year, last night saw former YouTuber Jake Paul defeat the legendary ‘Iron Mike‘ at the AT&T Stadium in Texas. And while the vast majority of us watched via a Netflix livestream, one very wealthy individual got to witness the match up close and personal.

Yes, we’re talking about that ringside ticket.

Ahead of the fight, reports began to circulate about a super pricey VIP ticket costing a whopping $2 million.

Now, you may be thinking ‘what kind of person would spend millions to watch a fight they could very comfortably watch for no extra cost from their own sofa?’

Well, it turns out there was one big spender who wanted nothing less than the best seat in the house.

What was included in the Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul $2 million ticket?

For this amount of money you’d be forgiven for expecting Paul and Tyson to be waiting on you themselves before heading into the ring.

However, the actual experience was still pretty excessive.

Footage from the night showed an exclusive booth plonked directly under the ring, featuring two recliners as well as plenty of ‘top-shelf’ food and drink options nearby.

Which certainly saves you the risk of missing a key detail during a mid-match dash to the kitchen for more snacks.

Perhaps the most bizarre part of the package was the inclusion of a TV.

Despite being right next to the ring, you’d be watching via a screen – unless you were willing to crane your neck all night.

However, the seat does come with a bunch of other cool perks as well, such as autographed boxing gloves from Paul and Tyson, a photo in the ring with the two fighters, personal escort and a two-night stay at the Loews Arlington Hotel thrown in for good measure.

The package also came with access to every bit of pre-fight build up, such as press conferences and weigh-ins. As well as access to a Private VIP Green Room with an open bar and all-inclusive menu.

Just to make sure you’re getting value for money.

Who bought the Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul $2 million ticket?

Okay so who was feeling rich enough to blow through all that money to sit ringside for the evening? That would be Los Angeles-based law firm TorkLaw.

There is an insane $2M “Owners Package” being sold for the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight. It features this specially made ringside suite. Other extras include a pre-fight locker room visit with Paul & Tyson, a private security detail and standing on stage during the weigh-in.

Speaking about the purchase, Korosh Torkzadeh, from TorkLaw, told USA TODAY Sports: “Life and sport often reflect each other in their unpredictability. At TorkLaw, as we spend our days fighting for our clients both inside and outside the courtroom, we see in boxing the same determination required to face life’s toughest battles.

“Our involvement in this event is more than just support for sport — it’s a celebration of the human spirit and the strength it takes to keep fighting, no matter the odds.”

What special $2 million ringside ticket for Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson fight actually gets you

What special $2 million ringside ticket for Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson fight actually gets you

Jake Paul will take on Mike Tyson tomorrow (15 November) night

The most controversial boxing match ever is almost upon us as 27-year-old Jake Paul takes on a 58-year-old Mike Tyson tomorrow evening (15 November).

Purists and casual spectators alike will be tuning in to Netflix’s first ever live broadcast at the 60,000 capacity AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Paul said at the press conference last night: “I fear no man. So I want him to be that old savage Mike. He says he’s going to kill me. I’m ready.

“I want that killer. I want the hardest match possible Friday night, and I want there to be no excuses from everyone at home when I knock him out.”

Tyson said: “I’m just ready to fight. I’ve said everything I had to say. There’s nothing else to say. I’m just looking forward to fighting.”

Since many of us already pay for the streaming service, it’ll be nice change to not pay extra to watch a boxing match.

But one group who certainly isn’t bothered about money is the company who splashed a whopping $2 million (£1.58 million) on a ringside package with six seats.

Fight organisers Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), co-founded by Paul, has sold its $2 million ‘MVP Owner’s Experience’, which will include to a ringside suite against the ring at the AT&T Stadium.

It’s basically a three-day experience featuring two ringside apron seats and four row one ringside seats.

There will be a post-fight in-ring experience with a photo opportunity and the buyers will get private VIP entrance to all events.

Also, they’ll get a two-night stay at the Loews Arlington Hotel and a private VIP green room on fight night, featuring an open bar and all-inclusive menu.

A dedicated host/concierge and personal security escort will be hand for the duration of the event.

The most bizarre detail? According to mock-ups of the ringside booth on X, it looks like after shelling out $2 million, the VIPs will be watching the fight on a TV rather than watching it happen in front of them.

TorkLaw, a national personal injury law firm, purchased the eye-watering package as the founder, Reza Torkzadeh, said: “TorkLaw, is excited to have purchased the MVP Owners experience package for this historic event with MVP and Netflix, bringing a once-in-a-lifetime boxing event to audiences around the world.

“Just as every fighter in the ring stands to represent resilience, grit, and the pursuit of victory, TorkLaw stands in the corner of the people, fighting for justice and empowering those who need it most.

“As champions of the people, we believe in supporting opportunities that inspire and elevate.

“This event showcases not only the power of competition but the spirit of perseverance, and we’re honored to be a part of it.”

It comes with a whole list of perks while watching the boxing event

Someone has actually bought that $2million (£1.6million) ticket for the Jake Paul v Mike Tyson fight.

Yep, ahead of the big face-off tomorrow (15 November) night – well, the early hours of Saturday morning for us UK lot – a special VIP ticket has apparently been sold.

The big boxing event is of course getting live streamed on Netflix, with subscribers being able to watch it without paying an additional PPV fee.

But plenty of people are still heading out to watch in person as Paul faces Tyson at the 60,000 capacity AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

And that now seems to include someone whose splashed the millions on this top-end ticket that includes six seats.

What’s included in the Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul VIP package?

The package comes with a special pre-fight locker room visit plus a unrivalled view in a ‘specially built ringside suite’. Two of the six ticket holders will get a unique experience, sitting elevated above the rest of the crowd.

But get this, early renders show that the fans in this kind of private booth attached to the ring won’t necessarily be watching the action right in front of them straight-up. Oh no, they’ll be watching it splashed on a TV screen in front of them. While they’re in there, they’ll be provided with the ‘top-shelf’ food and drinks on tap as they lounge back on recliners.

Sorry, I mean, you can’t tell me I couldn’t just create this same feeling from the comfort of my own home, pulling up my comfy sofa in front of the telly and laying out a buffet?

But whatever, this special package does come with a whole load of other fancy perks like getting a set of autographed boxing gloves from the main men of the night. They’ll even have a personal escort throughout the event plus a two-night stay at the Loews Arlington Hotel.

Oh, and of course, the package comes with the standard stuff, like you know, access to every bit of the pre-fight stuff from press conferences to the weigh-ins.

The other four ticket-holders not getting to sit in the ‘Ringside Apron Seats’ will instead be in Row 1 ringside seats.

Well, good for them.

Netflix has shared the full list of controversial rules for Mike Tyson's fight vs Jake Paul

Netflix has shared the full list of controversial rules for Mike Tyson’s fight vs Jake Paul

The controversial fight is happening very soon

Netflix has shared the full list of controversial rules for Mike Tyson and Jake Paul’s boxing match, which is set to go ahead in just a couple of days.

Well folks, it’s finally happening, ‘Iron Mike’ is set to head into the ring to face off against Jake ‘The Problem Child’ Paul in one of the most highly anticipated boxing matches of the year.

The bout was rescheduled after 58-year-old Tyson suffered a health scare earlier in the year while on-board a flight to Los Angeles.

However, with the fight now finally going ahead, should Tyson pass two final medical tests, here is everything you need to know about the rules.

How do I watch Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson?

The fight will be taking place at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas tomorrow night (15 November), which means viewers in the UK will have to tune in during the early hours of Saturday (16 November) morning if they want to watch along.

Paul vs Tyson is being broadcast live on Netflix, with subscribers being able to watch the fight for no extra cost.

However, anyone watching without a TV license should be aware of this little known rule which could see you landed with an £1,000 fine if you decide to broadcast the bout live.

If you don’t already have Netflix, there is a workaround to essentially get it for free as part of a package deal. At the moment Sky are offering Sky Stream, with Sky TV, Sky Full Fibre 300 Broadband and Netflix, all for just £36 as part of its Black Friday sale. And given that their Full Fibre 300 broadband is usually £29 a month, for just £10 more you’ll also get access to Sky TV and Netflix for not much more.

Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson fight rules explained

The fight between Paul and Tyson will look slightly different to your standard boxing match, due to several conditions being in place.

The fight will certainly be a huge spectacle (TIMOTHY A. CLARY/AFP via Getty Images)

Each round will last for two minutes, which is less than the standard three minutes you typically see in professional boxing. Additionally, the pair will only fight for eight rounds, instead of the usual 12.

The next difference will be the gloves, with both boxers using heavier 14-ounce gloves instead of 10-ounce ones. A heavier glove means that more shock will be absorbed by the glove’s padding, instead of the fist and point of contact on the opposition fighter.

Neither Tyson or Paul will be wearing headgear during the bout and there will be the standard three judges at ringside who will score each round (should no knockout occur).

These rules have been approved by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations.

The fight will also have a co-main event and two undercards (Brett Carlsen/Getty Images)

What are the rules for the other fights on the night?

Alongside Paul vs Tyson, there will also be a co-main event which involves a re-match between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano, two years after the pair headlined a sold out event at Madison Square Garden. The fight ended with a narrow split decision in favour of Taylor.

In regards to the rules for Taylor vs Serrano, Netflix has stated the fight will follow the traditional women’s boxing rules of 10 two-minute rounds.

Meanwhile, the two undercard fights will be Mario Barrios vs Abel Ramos and Neeraj Goyat vs Whindersson Nunes.

More than 70,000 people are expected to be in attendance for the bout – including someone who paid $2 million for a ticket – making it the biggest ever American boxing event outside of Las Vegas.

With the event streamed live on Netflix, more than 280 million people will be given the fight to watch for free as part of their current subscription package.

When is the Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson fight?

Paul and Tyson will conduct their ring walks at around 10pm local time at the Dallas Cowboys’ stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Friday (15 November).

Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson rules explained

The fight has been sanctioned by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, meaning the result will go on each boxer’s records.

It isn’t a normal bout, though, with the rules different to a standard heavyweight fight.

Firstly, the gloves will be heavier at 14 ounces instead of 10. This means the punches will not land as hard due to the extra padding, as well as protecting each boxer’s hands more than at 10-ounce gloves.

The rounds will also be two minutes each, instead of the usual three. And there will be eight rounds of boxing, not 12.

Some have questioned if this makes it a true match, while others have said as long as it is sanctioned, it is legitimate.
