Brooklyn and Nicola tied the knot in April 2022 in a lavish Palm Beach ceremony attended by celebrities and powered by family money on both sides.

The bride’s gown was Valentino and not a design by her new mother-in-law — a choice that became the first crack in what would grow into a much deeper family divide.

Behind the scenes, her and Brooklyn’s relationship with his parents grew increasingly strained. Then, more than two years later, the tension between Nicola and the Beckham family reportedly not only persisted but escalated into a full-blown rift.

According to multiple sources, not only were Brooklyn and his brother Romeo not on speaking terms, but he and his wife felt that their repeated attempts at reconciliation had gone ignored.

Nicola reportedly believed that both David and Victoria treated Brooklyn poorly and that she was the first of his partners to confront it. That defiance, insiders said, had not been well received.

TMZ reported that David “verbally berates” Brooklyn over the phone, while Victoria followed up by texting Nicola affectionately — a move perceived as damage control to avoid leaving a trace of the confrontation.

According to an insider, David and Victoria refused to hold any serious discussion with Brooklyn when Nicola was present, claiming she always “talked back” and “stood up for Brooklyn.” In their view, she was combative. In hers, she was protective.
