The 41-year-old’s previous lawyer has also spoken out about her condition, providing an update on the situation. However, Prince Andrew’s former girlfriend has reacted to the news with clear doubts.
Virginia Giuffre, known for her allegations against Prince Andrew, shared a heartbreaking update on social media, revealing that she has been given just days to live. As the shocking news spread, many online couldn’t shake the eerie feeling that something was off.

Giuffre posted a photo from a hospital bed, appearing bruised and visibly unwell, as she recounted the terrifying circumstances leading to her condition.
In her emotional message, she described how a school bus driver crashed into her vehicle at high speed, likening the impact to being trapped in a “tin can.”
As a result of the crash, she suffered severe injuries. She shared the devastating prognosis, “I’ve gone into kidney renal failure, they’ve given me four days to live, transferring me to a specialist hospital in urology, transferring me to a specialist hospital in urology. I’m ready to go, just not until I see my babies one last time.”
Even so, Virginia Giuffre admitted to feeling hopeless about everything. Still, she ended her message with gratitude, writing, “Thank you all for being the wonderful people of the world and for being a great part of my life. God bless you all xx Virginia 😔🙏🦋.”

Her post sparked immediate concern online, with many drawing eerie parallels to past royal tragedies. One person simply wrote, “Princess Diana vibes..” Other people expressed outright suspicion, “Something definitely not right about this..”
The lack of widespread coverage also raised eyebrows, prompting someone to ask, “Wait, why are we not hearing more if [sic] this? I’m so sorry you are going through this and pray for you. This is very suspicious and seems that she was hit on purpose!”

Another individual questioned the media’s silence, “Why isn’t this being reported in the media? It makes no sense.” One supporter reacted with shock and disbelief, “Nooo oh my gosh. This can’t be happening. Not after you’ve come so far.”
They questioned the absence of her loved ones, recalling how her family had previously stood by her during difficult legal battles.
The commenter urged Giuffre to reach out for support, “You can’t go now. Not after you finally won. Please DM to talk.” Expressing deep concern, they added that they were “just so horrified and want to help.” This person emphasized that Giuffre shouldn’t have to face this alone, ending with. “🙏🏼💜💜💜.”
Brad Edwards, the attorney who previously represented Giuffre, has described the situation as dire. However, he shared that they were “hoping for better news in the coming days” and remained optimistic that with proper medical care, she might pull through.
Giuffre, who previously went by Virginia Roberts, became widely known when she claimed to be a victim of sex trafficking and abuse by financier Jeffrey Epstein from the age of 16. Epstein died in prison in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.
She alleged that Epstein exploited her and lent her to powerful men, including Prince Andrew, the third child of Queen Elizabeth II and ninth in line to the throne.

Giuffre accused Prince Andrew of sexually assaulting her on three occasions when she was 17. She alleged that the incidents took place at his friend’s Ghislaine Maxwell’s residence in London, Epstein’s New York mansion, and on his private island in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The claims led to a legal battle that was eventually settled out of court in 2022. A court filing confirmed that Prince Andrew and Giuffre had reached an agreement, with the duke agreeing to pay an undisclosed sum. The settlement did not include any admission of liability on his part.

The legal document also acknowledged Giuffre’s experiences, stating that she had endured significant hardship both as a survivor of abuse and due to public scrutiny. As part of the agreement, Prince Andrew pledged to support efforts against sex trafficking and assist its victims.

While the financial terms remained confidential, reports suggested that the settlement amounted to millions of dollars, with a portion designated as a donation to Giuffre’s charity for victims’ rights. The resolution spared the duke from a civil trial, which would have required him to provide a sworn statement and face further public exposure.

Although the legal proceedings concluded, Prince Andrew’s reputation remained tarnished. His long-standing associations with Epstein continued to cast a shadow over his public image.
Despite escaping a courtroom battle, the mere fact that a trial had been a possibility reinforced lingering doubts in the public eye.

Now, as much as Giuffre’s Instagram post drew sympathy from her fans it also attracted reactions from one public figure close to the Prince Andrew controversy. Lady Victoria Hervey, a former girlfriend of Prince Andrew, reacted with open skepticism. Posting to her Instagram stories, she shared the photo of Giuffre’s bruised face and captioned it simply, “KARMA.”

Hervey continued to voice her doubts in a series of posts. In one, she questioned why Giuffre’s husband, Robert, had remained silent. She claimed he “knows the truth of the fake photo and all her con jobs.”
In another story, Hervey dismissed Giuffre’s claims of having only days to live. She suggested that law enforcement was closing in, alleging the FBI was preparing to act. “She’s conveniently dying to evade jail,” Hervey wrote.
She also implied a pattern, saying that each time a legal proceeding approached, Giuffre would “come up with something like this.” Calling Giuffre “the Queen of the fake photo,” Hervey expressed distrust of visual evidence alone. She said she would not jump to conclusions.
Hervey’s most pointed comments accused Giuffre of destroying lives and families for financial gain. She called the situation “divine judgment by God,” and said karma has a way of catching up.
In a final story, Hervey brought up Giuffre’s associate, Maria Farmer, questioning her credibility and past legal actions. She suggested both women had submitted false evidence to authorities. Hervey’s recent comments is not the first time she has come to Prince Andrew’s defense.
In April 2024, she appeared on a podcast and openly supported the Duke of York. “I can defend Prince Andrew and say this guy is absolutely innocent,” she said.
A year earlier, during a television interview in April 2023, Hervey made similar remarks. She argued that Prince Andrew had not been media-trained at the time of his controversial BBC interview and insisted he had nothing to hide. According to her, “in his eyes, he’s never met that girl who accused him.”
Hervey also defended his decision to appear in public following the accusations. She said Prince Andrew brought his daughter, Princess Beatrice, to the interview as a sign of transparency. “He doesn’t care about some sexual assault,” she said, “coz it didn’t happen.”
Giuffre, however, maintains that she met Prince Andrew in London in March 2001. She says she had traveled with her then-boyfriend, Epstein, and was staying at the home of Maxwell.
According to Giuffre, the group visited Tramp nightclub that evening. She claimed that Prince Andrew asked what she wanted to drink, and she had vodka. She said the prince had something clear, though she couldn’t specify the drink.

Later that night, Giuffre alleged she was told to entertain the prince and engage in acts against her will—allegations Prince Andrew has firmly denied. Prince Andrew has maintained that he was not at the Tramp nightclub on that night.
He stated he had been at home with his children and took Princess Beatrice to a party at a Pizza Express in Woking between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m.

Prince Andrew’s friend, Maxwell, has long denied the accusations tied to Giuffre’s claims. In court filings, she labeled the allegations as false. But in late 2021, a U.S. jury found otherwise.
Early one Thursday morning, at her home in Perth, Australia, Giuffre was jolted awake by her husband. “Wake up! You’ve got to wake up! She’s guilty,” he said, shaking the bed.
Still groggy, Giuffre learned the news: Maxwell had been convicted on multiple sex-trafficking charges. The verdict followed a high-profile trial in which Maxwell was found guilty of recruiting, grooming, and abusing girls in connection with Epstein.
The conviction meant Maxwell could face up to 65 years in prison. For Giuffre, it marked a turning point. “It’s a bittersweet emotion because I have been fighting for long,” she said. “But it’s definitely a relief to know that she’s off the streets.”
