Lip Reader Reveals What Jay-Z Whispered in Beyoncé’s Ear After She Won a Grammy
Beyoncé scored big at the Grammys, and just before she went on stage to accept her award from Taylor Swift, her husband shared some words with her — the contents of which were revealed by a lip reader.
On February 2, 2025, music icon Beyoncé made history when she won the prestigious award for Best Country Album for “COWBOY CARTER” at the 67th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles. Before heading to the stage to accept her award, the “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM” singer’s rap mogul husband, Jay-Z, walked up to her and whispered something in her ear.

Then, the “Empire State of Mind” rapper, who was seated behind his wife, approached her while clapping. According to Lip Reader, NJ Hickling, Jay-Z said, “Woah woah woah. Bout time! You’re a top girl.”

Following this exchange, the power couple’s daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, hugged her mother. Beyoncé then made her way to the stage to give her heartfelt acceptance speech as the star-studded audience cheered loudly for her.
After graciously accepting her Grammy from the “Bad Blood” artist, Beyoncé expressed, “Wow, I really was not expecting this. Wow! I wanna thank God […] that I’m able to still do what I love after so many years […] I’d like to thank all of the incredible country artists that accepted this album — we worked so hard on it.” More details on the story to follow shortly.
